Unsubmitted Ideas Policy

Kraton’s biobased chemicals and specialty polymers deliver exceptional value and enhance the lives of people all over the world. Kraton welcomes comments regarding our products and services, as well as innovation opportunities with business partners.
However, Kraton has a policy that we do NOT accept, review or consider any unsolicited ideas, works, materials, proposals, suggestions, technologies, processes, strategies, products, product concepts, product enhancements, content or creative materials (all of the foregoing “Submitted Ideas”). Furthermore, we cannot agree to provide any compensation, fees, payments, etc. for any such Submitted Ideas.
Kraton encourages inventors to file for and obtain patent protection for any of their original ideas.The purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when Kraton’s new products, technologies, or services developed independently by Kraton include features or ideas that were also suggested separately via Submitted Ideas.Due to the volume of Submitted Ideas we receive, Kraton cannot acknowledge or respond to each Submitted Idea. Although we appreciate your submission, you may not hear back from Kraton.If, you still proceed with a Submitted Idea, then regardless of contrary statements you make with your Submitted Idea, the following terms will apply to your submissions:
- Kraton has no obligation to acknowledge or review your Submitted Idea, or otherwise respond to you.
- Kraton has no obligation to keep your Submitted Idea confidential, and may publish or otherwise publicly disclose your Submitted Idea.
- Kraton may use or redistribute the Submitted Idea for any purpose and in any way on an unrestricted basis. “Unrestricted basis” means that Kraton is free to use the Submitted Idea for any purpose if not protected by patent.
- You are authorized to make the Submitted Idea if you wish, and your Submitted Idea does not include the confidential information, proprietary know-how, trade secrets, or other intellectual property of any other person or party.
